My old website http://www.helplite.com/ is being dismantled and rebuilt as my invention failed to launch. Ten years and about $55,000 dollars later, I think it is time to shift focus. The new site will allow fellow inventors of products to share their story for entertainment value. All the troubles and tribulations will add to the healing process for sure.
It will be complete in a few days and will be a work in progress.
My new site will be filled with ads from adsense in the hopes that I will earn enough to pay off those nasty debts from my failed venture.

From the inception of an idea, to launching a new invention product can be a mind boggling experience.
ReplyDeleteGoing through the process is difficult enough, but you must also realize that the unknown waters you are swimming in, are full of sharks!
Starting with those Invention Submitting Companies, that make it look like your the guy with the next "it" product!
They start off with telling you what a great idea you have...(legally written of course)then advise you to have them submit a patent search for just $600.00-$800.00 dollars! (which you can do for free).
Next they tell you to proceed to the next step...which will cost another bundle!
Even if you are lucky enough to end-up with an actual patent...that only means the "Journey has just begun"!
To most people, that signals to them "it's time to mortgage the house"! Get everybody on board, friends-family-investors alike...
Each step in the process is a difficult one: Prototype,Manufacturing,Marketing,Sales,Distributors Etc.
Remember "Raiders Of The Lost Ark"? At the end of the movie, where they stored the Ark in that Hugh Warehouse? Well that's exactly what happens to over 95% of new inventions!
DREAMS
Your not a loser for failing at them, your a loser if you never tried for them!
BUT IT CAN HAPPEN, YOU COULD END-UP A WINNER!
Then Uncle Sam will congratulate you...so will long lost relatives that you never met!
Hey, how about writing a book about the whole deal? This web-site is really cool, and I can't wait to hear some stories from "Winners" who didn't succeed, but are my hero's for
trying!
Good Luck Inventors, may the Dreams live-on...could you imagine life with-out them!
Coming Soon: The Saga of the Smart Alarm Padlocks!
Thanks Bob, I think I could write a book on this, it was a real adventure, but ended up in a way I never expected....My idea is in the lost ark..haha
ReplyDeleteThanks again:
